These papers consist of an unpublished manuscript (ca. 1944?) for a novel by Warren Dahler, entitled "Tiffany Setting," set in the artistic and theater society of New York, probably during World War II. There is also genealogical and biographical information about the descendants of Dutee Jerauld of Rhode Island, among whom was Dahler's great grandmother Phoebe Ann Jerauld.

Warren Winfred Dahler was born in Helena, Montana, on October 12, 1885, the son of Charles L. and Mary (Hudnall) Dahler. He attended art school in New York City and established a studio on Central Park West upon completion of his schooling, and later a studio and showroom in the Grand Central Terminal building.
